Working mainly for two projects (airplane models): PC-24 and PC-21.In my first 1.5 years I worked only on PC-24, while slowly transitioning to PC-21. There are twomain differences between these airplanes. PC-24 is using jet engine used for business and notonly, which can suit more passengers, while PC-21 is using a turboprop engine and is used formilitary training. On PC-24, code is mainly written in C language, Software Level is DAL-A(Design Assurance Level is A - catastrophic) and test scripts are all automated. The certified software quality tool used for code coverage analysis is LDRA tool suite. PC-21 code is written either in Ada, Perl or C. Safety Standards and testing is a bit different as this aircraft’s purpose is only military (DO-178C), so the safety criticality is not the same as in PC-24. Tests are either manual, either automated. In both projects I was and am taking care of implementing requirements in existing tests or creating new test cases and scenarios which will fully cover the Software Requirements Specification (SRS). The tool used is IBM rational Doors.I am also participating in helping new testers getting acquainted with the test environment, either if it’s on HOST (the simulated one), or TARGET (the actual rigs from our laboratory – thecomputer from aircraft). At the end of each build, we have a formal testing campaign which runs over a definite period oftime. In this interval we have to run tests with the rig quarantined (no changes are done to theaircraft computer – IMC (integrated mission computer).

The PhD studies are a continuation of the masters: researching and developing algorithms for image denoising. So, the aim pursued in my doctoral thesis is the theoretical approach to the restoration and improvement of images and video sequences using non-local filters, collaborative filtering methods and artificial intelligence based denoising methods. All of them being in the mainstream of publications for the restoration, improvement or filtering of images.keywords: AI, NLM, BM3D, PDE, Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Algorithms, OpenCV and C++ in Visual Studio, Matlab, Python.https://www.researchgate.net/publication/347190114_Shape_and_Contrast_Adaptive_Non-local_Means_Filterhttps://www.researchgate.net/publication/338654567_An_improved_NLM_filter_with_increased_noise_robustness_and_adaptive_similarity_function

I worked as a consultant for a client from Oerlikon in a railway project involving the safety relevant part of the system in SIL2 applications. The purpose is the creation of documents which describe the testing environment – the “Lab Qualification”, the test equipment specification and the test lab tool description. The second purpose is to make a Validation Report based on that and other documents received from the other teams. - Responsible for Optical Test Equipments used in Production Process of PCB's- Ensure correct functionality of Software (C, C++, C#) and hardware(electronics) equipments- Continuous improvement of test equipment performance (SW and HW)- Monitor the Test equipments for improving product quality and functionality- Create work instructions for Test equipments- Track spare parts stocks- Coordinate the technical personnel that use Test equipments- Preventive maintenance of SW and HW Test equipments- Organize and coordinate the analysis of nonconforming parts——————-on short: responsible of some machines in the line production. Those machines acquired images of freshly out-of-the-oven PCBs and returned the failures/defects in components placement, soldering etc. I had to monitor and pro-actively improve the detection algorithms.——————

During my second year of master in France, as 2nd semester, I was doing a 6-months internship in Palaiseau, France.Main purpose here was to develop and validate robust technical and fast high-resolution images of the retina to improve images intended for medical analysis. Also characterizing inter-picture differences in the focus and defocus blur. This workshop was open to the ANR project REVEAL (2013-2015, high resolution imaging of the retinal vessels in humans), driven by the hospital of the "Quinze Vingts" - Clinical Investigation Centre (CIC) with the following partners: Imagine Eyes, IOGS, Onera-DTIM, Onera-DOTA, ISEP, Telecom ParisTech). This project also aimed to validate new indicators of disease (microvascular biomarkers) measured from images of retinal vessels. These high resolution images were obtained by incorporating adaptive optics ophthalmoscope (AO).In this context, IOGS involved firstly studies on improving the correction by AO, and is further responsible for the task "Image Processing" working closely with Onera-DTIM - The French Aerospace Lab (Department of Information Processing and Modeling). ———————————-on short: took over a project started by a post-doc, tried to improve the algorithms in matlab so doctors could manipulate easier patient’s eyes images using a GUI and determine what diseases they have. ———————————-Tags: Matlab, Algorithms, Optics, Medical Imaging, Image denoising
