  Worked as a back-end engineer, using mainly Golang and Kubernetes. • Axigen provides a self-hosted email solution that offers full control and privacy to its clients. During my stay at Axigen I helped with transitioning the product from a single self-contained service to a scalable multi-pod approach, orchestrated using Kubernetes and Helm. • I coded and helped design several internal tools for performance monitoring and KPIs, cluster control (node synchronization, autoscaling, volume snapshotting) and a high level API for admin commands, using Golang and Kubernetes. • I designed and developed a provisioning API for a large telecommunications client. This project required complex business logic in order to deal with a large volume of concurrent requests while maintaining a consistent internal state. I had to use several synchronization techniques in order to avoid bottlenecks in the pipeline while satisfying the requirements of the client and the constraints of the email back-end cluster.   Worked as a Golang back-end engineer. • Developed a secure payment platform for a crypto-exchange project, integrating Bitcoin, Ethereum (with tokens) and other coins, in Golang. • Developed a KYC (Know Your Customer) service for quick sign-up, using facial recognition and OCR in Python. • Worked on the back-end infrastructure for a car-sharing project, following a microservice architecture coded in Golang, containerized using Docker, and deployed on AWS. • Developed a "fleet optimization" algorithm, based on simulated annealing, to maximize car utilization and minimize costs, in Golang.
