As Coordinator of the INSO's Biomedical Technical Unit (BTU) at Sidra Medicine, I am responsible for all the aspects of the Maintenance Program relevant to the Medical Equipment supplied by INSO for the Sidra Medicine Project. Duties include:- Managing, Supervising and Coordinating the Medical Equipment Maintenance activities;- Managing the overall operations and allocation of resources of the BTU by distributing BTU personnel based on preventive and corrective maintenance workloads;- Reviewing productivity and efficiency work data for the BTU personnel and identifying areas where improvements can be made to maximize staffing resources;- Meeting regularly with Sidra Medicine Biomedical Department Supervisors/Team Leaders to review previous work completion data, future scheduled work assignments and any other equipment support needs;- Ensuring that work requests from Sidra Medicine Biomedical Department are responded to within established time frames;- Understanding and complying with Joint Commission and international standards and regulations.
