I have had the opportunity to assist at many events including Open Days, Applicant Days, Outreach Events, Welcome Weeks, and Campus Tours; as well as assisting with general office work including making phones calls, preparing for open day events and attending various training programmes for the role. As an ambassador, I was requested to assist at a consortium event hosted by Cardiff Met Vice Chancellor Prof. Cara Aitchison for the B-International Event in January, where I had the chance to speak with several Vice Chancellors from universities in Pakistan, Italy, France and Spain, along with many other consortium members. Debate Mate Wales Mentor

During my time as a mentor, I worked with secondary school children aged 11-16 eligible for Free School Meals. The programme aims to help tackle the educational disadvantages the children face, by enhancing skills such as leadership, non-cognitive abilities, communication, and teamwork through after-school debating clubs, while also promoting Further Education and educating them about future career paths.
