Bio
Amy Hegarty
Claudia and I joined Sainsbury’s at the same time - Claudia with two years of a PR degree behind her and me with no PR experience whatsoever. Throughout my time there she offered me valuable support both personally and professionally - willingly sharing with me the skills and knowledge she had developed during her time at University and being a great friend during particularly busy times. She is clearly a natural

I was lucky enough to work with Claudia at two separate points during her time at Sainsbury’s; I handed over my role as Lifestyle PR Assistant to her, and then returned as her immediate report when she was reaching the end of her year there. When returning to Sainsbury’s as Claudia’s direct report, it was amazing to see the progress she had made in such a short space of time. Claudia is full of ideas, dedicated, passionate and has a genuine care for the work she does. Claudia was able to leverage her knowledge and success from the UK blogging scene to develop key relationships with fashion bloggers, which resulted in some great coverage. She also has a natural eye for styling and was regularly a go-to person for creative feedback, especially with fashion photography. Claudia is a very strong brand advocate, and she really understands what makes a good brand. I know that Claudia developed some fantastic skills during her time at Sainsbury’s, which she has since put to good use; and presumably these skills helped her land her first post-graduate job, which she did before even leaving university. Claudia has a very good eye and sense of judgement, and I have no doubt that she has a successful career ahead of her.
