Sonny's Bakery Cafe Tamworth
-
Tamworth Regional, New South Wales, Australia
-
Part Owner
-
2018 - 2019
Went into partnership with three gents from Sydney to launch Sonny's Bakery and Cafe in Tamworth. Owner/operator/director getting it off the ground - working 6-7 day weeks - Sonny's was a hive of activity. Would see 400-600 customers through the doors daily, which was a great turnout for a regional eatery. Went into partnership with three gents from Sydney to launch Sonny's Bakery and Cafe in Tamworth. 2015 - 2018
The first small bar and restaurant pushing casual dining and share plates in Tamworth. The launch of this venue was a huge turning point back in 2015 for the local food scene. Aside from food and beverage, customer service and atmosphere was top priority. During my time here I steered the ship, overseeing all kitchen, bar and front of house teams and did much else behind the scenes to keep us afloat.
