Graduate consulting project part of the Workshop in Development Practice | Programmatic Design and Pilot Support for Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Expansion into Laos.- Partnered with Pencils of Promise to develop an implementation plan and activities guidelines for an SEL program to be introduced and piloted in Laos.- Conducted benchmark research of SEL programmatic activities and curriculums in Brazil and the US.- Designed and analyzed survey and interview guides used on the field and developed activity guidelines for SEL activities adapted to the cultural context of Laos.- Gathered and analyzed data on SEL programs from around the world (with a focus on Asia) to present to the National Government and get approval for the program to be implemented.

The formative evaluation focused on understanding the dynamics of different partners, how the coalition is designed and operates, and the best methods for advancing their proposed agenda.
