  Project Manager for the European Research Infrastructure Instruct-ERIC. Within my responsibility is to manage the applications and peer review process of applications for access to the infrastructure and research grants. I manage the organisation of all network meetings, contacting all stakeholders including scientists, administrators, managers and EC officials. I maintain the communication channels with EC officials, relevant EC funded projects, UKRO, and national contact points (UK and European) to inform the network of funding, lobbying and communication opportunities. I co-ordinates the provision of training & workshops of 15 European research centres and user groups in all European Countries. I am the network website content manager and work closely with commercial and in house subcontractors in the development of the site. I am responsible for the communication activities of the network including mailing lists and twitter

  I joined as Instruct as the Project Manager to the Instruct Preparatory Phase project in 2008 and have since helped Instruct to grow and develop through to ERIC status. Now as the Senior Instruct Programme Manager, I manage the operational activities of Instruct, specialising in the access, training and communications work. I have taken a special interest in developing Instruct’s outreach to Latin American countries which have expanded the consortium into Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina and established MoUs with several major scientific institutions. I supervise the Horizon Europe project work at the Hub training new managers and supervising their work. I oversee the communication of Instruct including social media and have built Instruct visibility. Instruct is a distributed research infrastructure with facility managers and users all over Europe and beyond.
