  The French Association of Civil Engineering (A.F.G.C) is a place of exchange between engineers, researchers and teachers involved in civil engineering activities. The Association offers its members numerous meetings, conferences, technical and scientific events and organises visits to major construction sites. It also contributes to the elaboration of technical documents and is the French correspondent of international associations, such as IABSE, fib, RILEM and the American Concrete Institute (ACI through the Paris chapter of ACI).
