It’s rare that you come across a combination of standout effectiveness, efficiency, commitment, and pleasantness like Iain. I have had the pleasure of working with Iain for the last year during which time Adam Rolston, my expedition partner, and I planned, and undertook a fundraising golfing ‘trek’ across Mongolia to raise funds for Laureus Sport for Good, the foundation arm of the Laureus group of which Iain is Global Press Officer. Iain’s access and ability to get our story shared by the world’s media knew no bounds. His knack of managing to coordinate telephone interviews between us, in some of the most remote parts of the planet in rural Mongolia, news outlets and publications from the West Coast of the US right round the world to New Zealand, all from his office in London, was fodder for many campfire stories; and the impact on our fundraising efforts immeasurable. As was Iain’s ability to help lift the spirits down a crackly telephone line with his unwavering enthusiasm and hearty laugh, particularly during some of the tougher times of the expedition! It was, and still is, a great pleasure to work with Iain, whose commitment to Laureus and the ‘sport for good’ space is second to none. An opportunity to work with Iain comes highly recommended!

Iain is an incredibly rounded practitioner, who is equally comfortable tackling unforeseen challenges in a busy press office as he is making the most of relationships in high profile campaigns. Iain is great at reading the terrain of a busy media landscape, and thinks through issues with insight and creativity. He's got an incredible personable manner and is a great team player. During the Queen's Baton Relay Iain worked tirelessly to ensure media on the ground had a great experience. A an absolute pleasure to work with!
