Clare has had experience of teaching all subjects as part of the EYFS, keystage one and two curriculum. She has lectured and taught adults on how to deliver the requirements of the keystage one, two and three Art curriculum. Having previously used the Art QCA scheme of work. She has more recently become familiar with the New curriculum for Art and Design released by the Dfe, to support this also the parallel curriculum created by NSEAD that supports the Dfe model. Clare regularly attend exhibitions at the Ikon in Birmingham, Birmingham Museum and Art gallery, and The New Art gallery Walsall. Aslo, The Tate modern or The Tate, St Ives. She is inspired by the work of Pina Bausch, Barbara Hepworth, Bridget Riley and Edgar Degas to name a few. Visiting galleries and creating Art is her passion. She particulalry enjoys the process of gently manipulating clay as a material by complimenting its qualities and constraints to realise the intention of a piece of work through the process of exploration. Clare enjoyed having her own Art space and working with foundation stage Art college students. She also enjoyed working on ceramic sculptures for exhibition. The exhibition is still ongoing, she is working in collaboration with Emma Trimble to produce work for CON-FORM-AL.
