      For the majority of this time I worked in a small team to set up our Community Development Programme in New Housing Developments. This involved interpretation and translation of plans and policy to support local communities get involved in the growth issues facing MK, supporting Community Mobilisers in their outreach to new residents, building relationships with partner organisations and annual reporting. During the last part of this period I worked with colleagues to develop the Five Year Strategic Plan for our organisation. This included developing the vision, strategic objectives along with outcomes and performance measures to ensure that we achieved our NAVCA (National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) Quality Award. Best bit: Running a workshop about 'What Makes a Good High Street?' and hearing from a group of older ladies that a good high street definitely includes a place for buying sturdy knickers.
