During this pandemic year I have used my rusty chef skills to re train as a Plant Base Chef which has opened up my eyes to nutrient pairings, food production, usage of pesticides and chemicals in highly processed foods. A planned approach to batch cooking, buying local/in season fresh produce and the occasional quality animal origin food, is truly a balanced approach to both long term good health prognosis, supporting local business and the environment.
