  I created the company's original website. Most of the material and images I produced are still in use on the current site. I was responsible for maintaining the Greentree ERP system and problem solving IT issues for the company. In addition I liaised with the Managing Director at the time to produce comprehensive safety systems and Health and Safety Manuals for the company's three sites as well as Safe Ship Manuals for the company's five vessels. I taught myself how to use Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Illustrator in order to produce the, diagrams and images included on the website and for the product materials.

  Shimadzu Scientific Instruments - Operations and Marketing Co-Ordinator 1996 - 2002 This was a varied role involving office management, customer support, accounts and warehouse management. I prepared price lists for internal use and coordinated with the sales team to write analytical instrument quotations for customers. In addition I adapted marketing material for seminars, road shows and marketing campaigns, provided editorial/advertorial for trade publications. I coordinated with management and sales and service personnel to ensure adequate stock was maintained at the Auckland warehouse. The role required a basic understanding of complex instrumentation, components and analytical methods customers used and I enjoyed the close knit team we had and the variety that the position provided.
