  This role was within a children’s home where short respite breaks are offered. The children have complex needs and require a high level of care.   I started as a Support Worker in 2006 and was subsequently promoted to Team Leader and Deputy Home Manager before taking over the role of Home Manager of a six bedded home within a larger company. All the children and young people who live at the school have been diagnosed with severe autism, challenging behaviours and complex learning disabilities.
