  Within Culture Republic I provided a range of market research services including desk, quantitative and qualitative research to the arts and cultural sector in Scotland. I was involved in projects from inception through to delivery - identifying tenders and developing proposals - designing appropriate research methodologies, estimating timescales and costing the work. I managed projects using quantitative and qualitative research methods which included designing and scripting surveys and discussion guides, hosting online surveys, conducting in-depth interviews, contacting respondents/participants and monitoring participation levels. I analysed and interpreted the data gathered, collated the research and wrote reports. I also created presentations and disseminated and present findings (both internally and externally). I used the research gathered alongside market knowledge and publicly available data to make recommendations and provide advice and support to clients.

  As a Researcher I provided research and analytical input to projects. My particular area of expertise was in policy evaluation and impact assessment although I worked on a range of other projects including socio-economic analysis and chemical risk management. I was involved in identifying tenders and developing proposals and was involved in the development of projects – developing methodologies, conducting desk research, identifying sources of appropriate information and evaluating available data. I supported the design and execution of consultation with stakeholders including both qualitative and quantitative research. I designed surveys and conducted qualitative research primarily in the form of semi-structured interviews and conference calls with relevant stakeholders. I wrote significantly for the projects I was part of, to a publishable standard.
