Clara was my Professor during my graduate program at Parson’s School of Design (class of 2020). I had the pleasure of taking Major Studio I, with Clara as my instructor. This class is the first real introduction to product design. The program’s first course, it’s an overview of the design thinking process, the iterative nature of the work, and to think differently when problem-solving. Clara was always patient, kind, and understanding. A clear communicator, Clara didn’t let distance learning or Zoom spoil the fun. She was able to teach a course intended for in-person, 100% online. If the medium is the message or the message is the medium, whatever you might think, Zoom is an extremely difficult medium to transmit a message, and yet Clara and Brendan Griffiths (program chair) made the message (curriculum) loud and clear. Thanks for a great Fall semester!

I've know Clara for years and have continually been impressed with her ability to pick up new skills. She's always hungry to learn more, read up on new techniques, and help craft processes at any job. Couple this passion with her expertise in UX and user research and you have an amazing member of any team.

After School Art Teacher

2011 - 2012
I worked in an after school art program, my goal was to expose the children to the design process and to show them a variety of creative careers they could pursue. During my time teaching I worked with kids kindergarden through 9th grade and did projects that focused on architecture, game design, graphic design, science, and much more!
