I have worked with Claire for a number of years now and recommend her services 100%. She is an inspirational career coach whose warmth and authenticity shines through. As a mainstream secondary school, our students have a wide range of career dilemmas; Claire's skill is to identify the barriers that prevent students fulfil their potential, thus empowering them to help themselves. In addition to one to one impartial career advice, Claire has delivered group sessions and presentations for us. The pace and pitch of her group work is just right, and the industry knowledge and resources she uses current and relevant. Claire will be a valuable addition to any educational setting.

JANE FERRÉ (MCIPD)

I have had the pleasure of working with Claire over the past 10 years, most recently in the Talent team at British Airways. Claire was pivotal in initiating and developing a relationships with a number of teams who were essential to us achieving our goals. She was tenacious in her approach to following up on actions and has an incredible knack of doing this in such a way as to not ruffle any feathers but to smooth a clear path (an enviable skill in British Airways). Claire is passionate about ensuring we identify and nurture colleagues who demonstrate potential to move to not only the highest levels of the organisation, but to become the very best version of themselves. Claire would be a real asset to any team - you would be extremely lucky to have her.

‘Career Conversations’ was born from the conscious decision to move away from the traditional terminology of a ‘career interview’ which is encountered by many young people and often provokes images of assessment and judgement. The cornerstone of ‘Career Conversations’ is to generate a change in mindset by creating an environment from the outset which promotes open dialogue and develops using skilled questioning. My practice centres on a career conversation, where each student can explore where they are now in terms of career aspirations and consider where they want to be. Each student will produce their own prioritised action plan during their career conversation to aid them in moving forward when hard decisions need to be made. This will provide them with an output and something tangible to share with their support network following our session. My aspiration is to provide a setting where minds can grow through the exchange of knowledge and guidance, and big or even BIGGER ideas on future career possibilities can be sparked.

My role was to support the development and delivery of British Airways’ Talent Management strategy. I achieved this by; working with the in-house resourcing team and external partners to bring new talent into the business, designing robust and fair talent review and succession planning processes that identified the highest potential internally and by working closely with BA's Learning Academy to ensure that we were providing the organisation's future talent pipelines with development that was right for them.

    • Executive Assistant - Talent, Leadership and Learning Development
      • Jul 2008 - Dec 2014

I supported our Global Head of Leadership, Talent and Learning by; orchestrating activity across the team, co-ordinating highly confidential projects, liaising with numerous stakeholders, delivering and managing all finance activities, working with key external partners to create senior management development programmes and helping to create a strong working team environment. Plus all of the daily administration tasks that come with working in a busy team.

    • Event Coordinator
      • Jul 2005 - Jul 2008

I was part of a team that planned and event managed a corporate wide one-day learning programme, achieving delegate attendance of over 20,000. This role then evolved into scheduling Commercial and Leadership Development training interventions using an in-house planning tool.

    • Customer Service Agent
      • May 2001 - Jul 2005

This challenging operational role gave me a solid foundation to build my career at British Airways. In this customer facing role no two days were ever the same and comprised of; checking customers in for flights, departing and meeting aircraft, managing disruption and working with new colleagues on a daily basis. Still a role that I look back on with fond, and sometimes hilarious memories.
