Carol Lamey
Claire joined our digital team to manage the delivery of an email campaign for our biggest event of the year, Big Garden Birdwatch. She picked this up with very short timescales and delivered an extensive programme of email communications to our supporters extremely effectively. She also helped out on some paid search activity for the campaign as well. Claire is a good communicator, dynamic, organised and very capable of managing and delivering effective communications either autonomously or within a team environment.

Claire is one in 7 billion! Anyone who has met or worked with her could attest to this. Claire has volunteered at CROW - Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife on numerous occasions, each time giving nothing less than everything she has in her, and more. She has incredible animal husbandry skills and is not afraid to get her hands dirty. Coupled with her skills in rearing and rehabbing animals, she also has a strong aptitude for marketing, pr, fundraising, team leading, team building, strategic thinking, and giving her all to any task at hand. Everyone who has worked in wildlife rehab knows that being able to be fully competent in both administration and clinic work, is as rare as a shooting star. Every time Claire returns, she lights up CROW and it's entire team, leaving us with heavy hearts when her visa is up. Sadly, the South Africa government makes it near impossible for someone with her skill set to get a working permit as this is not regarded as a critical skill. Well, as far as we are concerned, she is critically needed here and if given the chance, we will grab a hold of her and never let go. If an organisation has the opportunity to have Claire in their employ, a second thought could mean missing out on that rare star. Paul Hoyte CROW Director
