NEXTEK is an environmental consultancy with leading expertise in recycling and waste management - focussed on creating sustainable food-grade packaging solutions and circular economies that reduce waste, emissions and reliance on fossil fuels. Current work is predominantly focussed on the communications & operational support for the NEXTLOOPP project (nextloopp.com), that is creating much needed food-grade recycled polypropylene to help turn around the enormous volume and use of virgin resins in plastics food packaging. Creating a recycled food-grade PP option will create a sustainable, circular solution for food-packaging. Key tasks include monthly 'progress' newsletters for member companies and award submissions. In October 2019, I arranged the 'Back to School' Charity Dinner, and provided ongoing communications support for the Friends of Radnor House Sevenoaks events, by managing the twitter feed, drafting newsletter entries, adhoc comms, chairwoman memos for talks and an annual marketing plan for schedule events.
