I had the opportunity to collaborate with Claire on Chronos, an open-source developer tool geared towards monitoring containerized applications, and I could not have asked for a better engineer to work with. Claire is a complete engineer; she possesses both the knowledge and the drive to accomplish all tasks from ideation to deployment. She has the initiative to take the lead during the development process, while also maintaining an empathetic and collaborative approach with her colleagues. Claire is also a skilled engineer who is highly skilled when it comes to both front and back-end development. Her breadth of knowledge spanning all forms of containerization, from Docker to Kubernetes to AWS (ECS/EC2/EKS), was vital to our team’s success. Many of the complex challenges we encountered were solved with help from her meticulous and efficient navigation of codebases. Her proficiency in React, Typescript, and Node.js is clearly and consistently demonstrated by the clean, maintainable code that she writes. Claire also has a talent for writing clear and concise documentation. Claire’s talent and passion for software engineering and dedication to her work were immeasurable to the success of Chronos. I have no doubt that her skills and experience would make her an invaluable asset to any team lucky enough to have her on board.
