PR & Communications Manager
-
Jan 2016 - Present
My work involves raising awareness of the value and benefits of the Cadet Forces for young people, adult volunteers and the community. The RFCA's network of staff, association members and Defence contacts in the East of England is my main portal to getting the word out about the work that we do. My targeted social media campaigns delivered up to 270% uplift to CFAV applications last year. I manage the website and contribute to content development for our digital and print publications. In my team, we also share inspirational content about employers showing their support for Reservists and veterans through the Armed Forces Covenant. We’ll also tell you about major upgrades and facilities improvements delivered across the region which improve the training experience for Reservists and Cadets. These venues are also available for hire and all income is re-invested back into the Reserve and Cadet Estate. Show less
