      • Jun 2019 - Present

I lead the England provision to deliver work-based learning apprenticeships in Health and Social Care, from Level 2 to 5. I have also been approved to deliver apprenticeships and provide quality assurance for the Welsh provision. I am responsible for a team of 8 development coaches, whose outputs I ensure meet the relevant quality standards of the awarding bodies (City and Guilds, and NCFE). I also ensure that the awarding bodies' procedures are followed by conducting regular standardisation. In addition, I mentor my team and support them in keeping their skills current by developing and delivering training sessions. In my role as Lead IQA, I also form part of the quality team providing assurance that the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework is adhered to. This involves business development to support the creation of a growing company's quality plan, for which I carried out a mock Ofsted inspection, produced a report detailing our strengths and weaknesses and then presented the findings to the Director of Improvement. I also undertake ad-hoc projects to enhance the business. As an additional responsibility, I am the Designated Safeguarding Officer for both the England and Wales provisions. This involves ensuring our learners are safe by liaising with their development coaches, implementing safeguarding measures or escalating when necessary. Show less
