Claire was a great mentor to me during my time at WANO. She knows how to make good communications great, using her understanding of PR, business and most importantly, people, to get the best out of her team. Great leaders are surprisingly rare, so I feel lucky to have found one in Claire. The lessons I’ve learnt from her have undoubtedly contributed to my own development as a communications professional.

I had the pleasure of working with Claire for about a year, and although we never actually met due to the pandemic, she was an exceptional manager, mentor and friend. Her enthusiasm, resilience, and expertise in communications were unparalleled, and I learnt so much from her. She took on building a new comms function while working from home which in itself is a huge achievement. Her ability to juggle multiple projects across different regions while keeping her cool was beyond impressive. She took every challenge in her stride so I always felt supported and in capable hands. She provided me with the confidence and motivation to take on new projects and learn new skills, for this and so much more I am forever grateful and genuinely miss working with her! I hope one day we can work together, but in the meantime, I look forward to watching her career flourish.
