Having identified a gap in the market, I oversaw and project managed the development, launch and implementation of a new online shopping website for Keating’s Pharmacy Group: www.pharmacystore.ie selling over 3,500 products, including OTC medicines, vitamins, first aid, baby, toiletries, beauty and skin care.Developed a social media strategy to develop a customer base and drive growth for an online pharmacy portal by using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and a blog on health matters to build engagement via promotions and giveaways.Monitored online shopping site to ensure competitiveness in the market, respond to customer emails and troubleshoot any problems promptly to ensure a high standard of customer service.Used Google analytics to support a digital marketing strategy to enhance sales and provided strategic direction for operational management of social media promotional campaigns across the business.Managed and monitored rebrand of the three stores Keating’s Pharmacy Group. Activities included two store fit-outs valued at €100K and €350K, store rebranding and parallel rebuilding the website.Liaised with purchasing department regarding all aspects of contract negotiations with suppliers in order to stock current merchandise at a competitive price and in turn provide value for money to customers while still achieving strong margins.Orchestrated strategic changes to consolidate group brand and improve service delivery including refit of shops, redesign of signage and staff uniforms.Supervised execution of effective merchandising displays, placements and promotional lines in three shops.
