  Key Responsibilities: To provide communication and research support to the Executive Officer with a view to achieving established responsibilities of the organisation that are consistent with the scope of CHARTTES. Key Achievements: • Development and implementation of CHARTTES Workplace Health and Safety procedures and manuals • Securing 6 additional job titles to the ‘Northern Territory Skilled Occupation Priority List’ - This was done by presenting the NT Government with research sourced from industry employers to identify job shortages and future solutions regarding workforce development. • Management of 5 training programs; Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety, Certificate IV Frontline Management, Certificate IV Sports Development, Certificate IV Project Management & Practice and Certificate III Laundry Operations – this included working with the registered training organisation to ensure the context of the units delivered were relevant to the students and their workplace. • Securing a NT Government contract for free Customer Service Skills Training; offered to the Tourism industry to assist workforce development. • Hosting 10 NT students to the National Worldskills Competition in Perth. After 6 months of coaching and support, the students gained 4 medals including a Gold for the VET in School category, Food and Beverage Service, and a Bronze for Cookery and Tourism. Show less
