I worked with Claire through her FIRST Robotics work through the I.Am.Angel Foundation and LAUSD. I found Claire to be incredibly competent, thorough, and a tremendously fast learner. She was the rock that we could depend on during turbulent periods in the effort, I absolutely appreciated her willingness to come up to speed on virtually anything lightening fast, find a way to organize the effort, and take it to completion. In the midst of one of the most challenging times, Claire opted to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the global nonprofit STEM organization, FIRST. She assisted in providing an entire school district with underserved student populations access to the FIRST Tech Challenge program.
