  My role is a combination of a commodity and corporate accountant. I review and approve payables and create journal entries for revenue transfers between departments. I also enter fx entries and reclassify expenses as needed. I am currently working on reconciling years of clearing accounts in order to put together correcting journal entries. On the commodity side I analyze 8 commodities every monthend for discrepancies as well as an explanation of vessel variances. I bring contracts and inventory up to market value and provide easy-to-understand summaries of the affect of market value moves. As a part of my role, I communicate with many different individuals, from station managers, other accountants, corporate players as well as merchants. My ability to adjust my communication methods per situation enhances and betters my role.
