  Claire has been a private tutor of voice and piano for the past 5 years. After a recent years experience teaching full time in private schools and at a private studio in the Cayman Islands with Musicians Ltd, Claire gained much experience preparing students for the exam syllabus of Guildhall Trinity and ABRSM, as well as AMEB. Claire has her achieved her grade 8 AMEB Piano with Honours. Claire also has experience teaching students of all ages and many styles of voice including contemporary, pop, jazz, musical theatre as well as classical. With a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy, Claire understands the inner workings of the voice and the latest teaching methods to help to achieve the best results for her students. For students to reach their full potential, Claire imparts an understanding of the technical aspects such as breathing, support, phonation, articulation, tone, posture, as well as the stylistic elements and performance aspects. This knowledge empowers the student to develop and self-assess to ultimately improve outside the lesson environment. Claire also understands that every voice is unique, and will help to get the best out of your individual sound. Claire provides private voice and piano lessons to the Brisbane area in a central private studio, as well as Mobile lessons to home negotiable.
