Assisted the program team with a specific grant that targeted serving at-risk youth within the school setting to help build stronger connections between school and families. The program, partnered through Family & Children's Place, was called the F.A.S.T program (Families and Schools Together). Individual sessions were held at Highland Middle School with targeted families over the course of 8 weeks. Through the grant work a modified version of the F.A.S.T program was created specifically for Big Brothers Big Sisters, called Family Night, as a way to increase parental engagement, as well as a Parent Advisory Committee.
