      Formerly the Molson Indy, this world class motorsports event is broadcast live around the world and since it's inception has raised more than $6 Million for local charities. Instrumental in negotiating the sale from Molson Sport & Entertainment to Indianapolis based Green Savoree Racing Promotions, the title sponsorship agreement with Honda Canada, and securing support from the Province of Ontario, City of Toronto, and Tourism Toronto to ensure the continuation of this marquee racing event in the streets of Toronto. As President, was responsible for the oversight and day to day management of one of the most respected and longest standing street races in the world, including sponsorship sales, hospitality, operations, budgeting, ticket sales, and staffing/volunteers Once on the brink of fading into history, the Honda Indy Toronto continues to this day.       The Foundation hosted a series of fundraising events designed to raise community involvement and excitement in the Molson Indy while raising funds and awareness for the cause of children's charities. From black tie affairs to street parties and charity runs to exclusive VIP Drivers' Parties these events engaged the community, sponsors and media around the Molson Indy and made it the must attend event of the summer. During this time the Foundation donated more than $5,750,000. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees and Chairman Paul V. Godfrey, I was responsible for the day to day management of the Foundation including the strategic planning, sales and execution of the events in accordance with CRA guidelines. Show less
