Pre-Game Elite Sports, Inc founded in 2017 as a Non-Profit organization, with the intent to improve youth health and physical activity. The organization was designed to use athletics, specifically Basketball, as a vehicle to engage young children in productive healthy living programs. This sports-focused approach has proven to be a particularly powerful and effective way to engage youth in off-the-court activities, especially in low-income Brooklyn neighborhoods, where basketball is central to the culture of our communities and the identity of our youth. Students partake in fun, exciting and educational activities such as: Latin Club, Creative writing, Acappella Club, STEM (Robotics and Broad Casting), Instructional soccer • Certified and registered with the New York State office of Children and family Services for School-Aged Children (SACC) • Responsible for Staff and Participant files being in compliance with the Department of Health. Staff clearances include: SCR, SEL, DOH Fingerprinting. • Performed fire drills and shelter in place safety drills. • Managed program Schedule in coordinates with Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD). • Entered daily attendance to DYCD to record data and rate of participation of program. • Managed staff of 17 workers, including Certified teachers, College age youth workers, and high school youth workers • Students engage in community and leadership activities partnered with the Kiwanis Builders.
