I had the privilege of meeting Lally through our Fulbright grant in the northeast of Brazil. Lally is a strong leader and an intelligent person. Lally shared her invaluable knowledge and command of the Portuguese language as well as her previous experience with Brazilian culture. As someone who had not been to Brazil prior to the Fulbright grant, I benefited immensely from Lally’s advice and assistance. I am grateful for her invaluable leadership and friendship and she would be an undeniable asset to both prospective employers and /or graduate programs.

I worked with Citlally through the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant program in Recife, Brazil, as a co-teacher and program mentor. From the start, I was struck by her organization, determination and fearless way of getting things done. She is always prepared and does not lose time in making things happen. Throughout the year, she has managed teaching and scheduling responsibilities with ease. This is not always an easy task while working in the network of Brazilian federal universities. Without a doubt, her flexibility is a credit to her understanding of other cultures and willingness to adapt in the workplace. She is also a thoughtful member of our community teachers located in the Northeast. Citlally is goal-oriented and has risen to every challenge that I have witnessed throughout the year. I have no doubt about what she will continue to achieve great things and am glad to have shared this year of professional development with her.
