Cipactli (uses singular they pronouns) is one of the newest members of a conference planning team I am a part of that handles volunteer logistics, language accessibility, and website management. Having Cipactli on the team is like having an All-Star ready to take on whatever is thrown their way. Without a doubt, they have increased the effectiveness and overall morale of the group. There is a running joke that we all wish we could be more like Cipactli, and they should be the chair of our subcommittee even though it's only their first year. I personally would hire them immediately if my current organization had an open position.
