As a co-founder and director, I oversee various department programs, resources, and the development of business curriculum, and develop Cannabis education material for events. As part of the Hemp Business Builder team, I also create standard operating procedures for New Businesses for employee training purposes by creating custom training platforms with a focus on compliance and regulations in the Hemp & Cannabis Space. Here is what our clients have to say: "Hemp Business Builder is a critical piece in our Texas cannabis ecosystem. With the market moving as fast-paced as it does, it has been a great resource in helping businesses like mine at Restart understand and stay connected to important news and resources, as well as help build a community of advocates that can band together to ultimately drive change forward in our city and state. I appreciate the work Leah, Cintia, and their team are doing to help businesses like mine stay informed and plugged in!" - Shayda Torabi, Founder Restart "From the last 2 years of working with various industry partnerships, by far joining the Inner Circle has delivered the biggest results we have seen from any program. I highly recommend joining Hemp Business Builder. - Lee Vernon, Founder First Responder Fuel "Higher Ed. Hemp Tours & the Inner Circle is our go-to for anything Texas hemp-related. As a retailer, it is crucial to continue our education and to stay up to date with the ever-changing cannabis laws. Having an outlet like HT's dashboard keeps us informed in so many areas of the industry, which then leaves us more time to connect with our community."- Jae Graham, Founder Mary Jae's

    • Language Program Manager
      • Jan 2013 - Mar 2018

As the Language Program Manager/Acting School Director my primary role was to direct the academic department of our school. However, I also oversaw all aspects of the school including but not limited to: creating all school policy and rules, hiring and training new instructors and staff, and consulting students regarding their language learning needs. I was also the Primary Designated School official, my responsibilities included getting the school SEVP and CEA certifications. I maintained excellent SEVIS status and accreditation for the school and language programs through the Commission of English Language Accreditation, creating the curriculum for both Spanish and English Language programs, providing ongoing professional development for instructors, coordinate monthly activities for students, and advising active and potential students in regards to their student visa. My favorite part of the job was that it enabled me to also teach and work directly with the students. Sometimes, I would also teach classes in both ESL and Spanish if needed, and would coordinate outings for students to enhance their language learning.
