I first met Cindy in 2011 as a prospective student of Messiah College, and then worked closely with her as her assistant in at the college’s Office of International Admissions in 2012-2013. Searching for a university as an international student is daunting task, but Cindy made it incredibly easy and straightforward. Her knowledge of student recruitment in the education industry, as well as her unparalleled patience with each and every applicant were key traits that successfully expanded the international student population at Messiah. Even after her role was over as a recruiter, Cindy still went to great lengths to ensure these students were assimilating well into their new environment. Certainly, her tender loving care became a strong factor that kept these students at the college. She has travelled the world recruiting from different countries and is no stranger to other cultures. In fact, I can personally speak to her gift of building connections with students and parents no matter where they are from; an imperative skill in any industry. While most students came into contact with her as described, I was personally afforded the privilege of serving as her assistant in her role as Assistant Director of International Admissions. In Cindy, I found not only a mentor to my part-time role, but a leader who constantly thinks about ways to improve administrative processes. As recruitment becomes more competitive, schools and colleges need someone like Cindy who is has the subject matter expertise to establish sustainable programs that achieve effective results. Cindy will be an asset to any organization looking for a team player who has expertise in recruitment, retention, and education administration. I strongly recommend her for any role, and am always ready to serve as her reference.

Cindy managed the only budget friendly website for the country of Belize. She was responsible for organizing and collecting the information countrywide, making site visits and providing the web department with the organized info regarding each hotel with rooms less than US$60 as well as all their amenities and descriptions.
