Cindy Small is a native Delawarean with more than 30 years of experience in journalism, public relations, marketing and advertising. For the past year, she has served as Director of Tourism for Kent County Tourism, a non-profit organization located in Dover. Prior to that, she was Communications Manager for Chesapeake Utilities Corporation in Dover. Before relocating to Kent County in 2007, she was Director of Tourism for Sussex County. In 1995, she was named Delaware Tourism Person of the Year by then Governor Tom Carper, and was chosen as a Delaware delegate to the White House Conference on Travel and Tourism in 1996.
