Hmong in Health is a student organization on the University of California, Davis campus. We promote Hmong students to a career in health through pre-health conferences and workshops with health professionals. We strive to develop an awareness of Hmong medicine and culture among UCD students and the local community. Most importantly, we also establish a network among Hmong pre-health students at UCD to provide academic support for our students. As President, I oversaw all affairs within the organization and delegated responsibilities to all officers, chaired all officer meetings and coordinated the general management of the organization, and created a database of contacts: Hmong medical students, physicians, undergraduates, outreach schools, other health professionals and organizations.
