I was a speaker and participant at an event in October called Women Only Weekend. It was established by Cindy in 2012 and as a result of its popularity, was held again this year. From a speaker’s perspective, Cindy provided details in a timely fashion, an opportunity to promote my business throughout the weekend, ensured my role was as stress-free as possible and expressed much gratitude, resulting in a very positive experience. This opportunity also allowed me to present to and associate with women I never would have crossed paths with otherwise, adding valuable acquaintances to my personal and professional network. From a participant’s perspective, I was able to listen to some interesting and entertaining speakers, learn, bond with some friends and have a lot of fun with like-minded women. I anticipate that anyone working with Cindy would benefit from her event planning skills, extensive list of contacts and drive for impacting the community in a positive way.
