I had the pleasure of getting to know her when I was teaching Tourism and Hotel Industry. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students, however, few were as open to learning and embracing new concepts as Cindy. From day one, it was clear that she was not there just for the certificate; she wanted to learn but was able to combine a teenager normal social life and school. Her work papers were always on time and well-written. I was never disappointed with Cindy's work for my class. She was also eager to participate in class. She always worked hard and I guess that’s why every other student wished her to pick them for workgroups. She clearly showed leadership skills, was able to listen and also influence others in a positive way. I wish I had more students like Cindy!
