BITCI provides bespoke advice to some of the most progressive multinational and indigenous companies to helping smaller enterprises navigate and understand CSR.I was a member of the Business Working Responsibly Mark Team. The Business Working Responsibly Mark is an all-encompassing standard that certifies responsible and sustainable business practices and is available to organisations worldwide. My role involves supporting clients who wish to achieve the Mark, promoting the Mark as standard for responsible and sustainable business and supporting the day to day Mark operations.I also advised member companies on how they can improve their environmental and sustainability performance and help companies engage with community partners.   I undertook a traineeship with The European Partnership which is an organisation dedicated to coordinating initiatives and activities in international water issues and undertakes worldwide promotion of European expertise related to water. I was a member of the European Water Stewardship project team which has developed a standard to assess, verify and communicate responsible water stewardship practices by various water users in Europe. My tasks included assisting on audits of water using industries, carrying out research on water stress in river basins across Europe, piloting water stress related tools, communication with project partners, contributing to newsletter and website updates, event management, policy research and administrative duties.
