The Washington D.C Internship Program is a 5 week internship in a museum role in partnership with the Smithsonian Latino Center, The National Gallery of Art and the Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College. During my time working with the NGA I had the opportunity to design and implement a virtual art workshop for their Virtual Studio program where I led 6 workshops with participants from all over the globe. As part of the Museum Studies Internship Program at ELAC, I interned With LACMA in the School and Families Program. There I learned classrooms techniques for art making activities, researched national museum education practices and shadowed teaching artists.
