      Events we have carried out since forming in July 2011 include:-indoor skiing/snowboarding trip, Chill Factore-technical seminars on water heating products, solar thermal systems, Smart Grids and Zero Carbon Hub, Part L, CHP, Low Carbon Manchester-site visits including Manchester University solar thermal installation, MMU Birley Fields-membership briefings from CIBSE HQ staff-'A Day In The Life' seminar with other built environment professionals-inter-professional seminar on Design for Deafness in the built environment-Very popular networking events with North West Young Planners, IStructE, ICE and Urban Design group at Manchester Museum and The Portico library, NOMA Co-Op tower and other social events such as ten-pin bowling at Great Northern and beer tasting class at Brew Dog-CIBSE YEN National Ball at Manchester 235 Casino with comedian & compere Rich Wall, magician Mark Bowden, event sponsors' prize-giving ceremony plus three-course meal & disco-Chartered Engineer workshop with three YEN committee members discussing how they got chartered with CIBSE, IMechE & IET-events carried out with the main CIBSE NW region such as seminars on Breathing Buildings school ventilation, Cooper Lighting, building energy performance benchmarking-promotion of events by the Society for Public Health Engineers (SoPHE) and the Society for Light and Lighting (SLL) in the region.For 2014/15 we are happy to be supported by Ruskin Air Management, Gilberts Blackpool and Herz Valves for our social activities.
