Worked closely with my field work educator, spending 11 weeks on the Acute Rehab unit emphasizing Occupation Based clinical intervention while providing training in self-care activities with adaptive and durable medical equipment and neuromuscular re-education, trunk stabilization and balance activities. Developed home programs and patient/caregiver education and training to continue after rehab and contributed to safe discharge planning, including transitioning to the next level of care.
