I work on a variety of projects including songwriters, bands, choirs, orchestral, theatrical and voiceover work as a recording engineer and producer. Examples include Odd Morris, Chósta, Kimono Vega, Ardú, Diva Voces, Dulciana and Brendan Shanahan. BBC6 Track of the Week x 2, ISDA 2018 Sound Design Nomination Until it's closure in September 2018 I was based in Westland Studios. I have carried out projects in a number of other studios in Dublin, my own home studio, and have enjoyed successful portable location setups in venues such as Dublin City Hall, St. Andrews Church, Berlin Bar and the Freemason's Hall. In 2018 I started a band with friends and in the years since we have performed internationally and had over 200,000 streams along with physical releases. - Developed extensive organisational, strategic & creative skills. Also further developed audiovisual production, social media and marketing skills through website design, online selling & online advertising. - Performed and toured extensively both domestically and internationally, including performances at Electric Picnic, All Together Now, The 100Club London, Paradiso Amsterdam and Whelans etc. - Featured extensively on BBC6 Music, BBC Radio Ulster, RTE 2FM and 98Fm. Selected four times as BBC6 Music track of the week. As well as this, we have been featured in The Irish Times, The Independent (UK), Clash Magazine, Hotpress and others. Show less

Audio Technician

In this role I operate the digital audio recording systems for a number of contracts, primarily in the legal industry. These include the Criminal Courts of Justice, Residential Tribunal Board, Medical Council of Ireland and Pharmeuceutical Council of Ireland. My role involves installing, setting up and testing equipment & cabling, adjusting the gain and placement of microphones to ensure everything is captured optimally, and playing back audio files from previous sittings over the PA. It is also necessary to keep a timestamped log of who is speaking, to be supplied when the audio is sent on for transcription. Show less

With Twisted Image, I worked on the exeution of various sets, audio-visual installations, and event pieces. Project dependent, this ranged from audiovisual equipment setup, CNC operation, soldering, metalwork and woodwork, to on site installation. Team Leader

In this position I worked with a team of up to fifteen staff, and was responsible for driving sales frequently in excess of €40,000 a day through monitoring and reacting to hourly sales reports. I regularly supervised the full team without any other managerial support, and was the first port of call for customer issues such as refunds, exchanges and complaints, handling them courteously, sympathetically and using these as opportunities to build brand loyalty and increase product knowledge. Other duties included: - Following cash/safe/banking procedures to open and close store, and sending nightly reports to verify to head office. - Maintaining superb visual merchandising standards within the store, dealing with visits from brand representatives. - As the only local keyholder, dealing with occasional security and alarm issues. With UCD Student's Union I worked in the main chain of shops on the UCD campus. My roles included; cashier, stock refill, maintenance of coffee machines, ensuring the shop floor remained clean at all times, and assisting customers with any issues or queries. Frequently I would operate the smaller Engineering building shop for full days without other staff support. During my time with the SU the shops have also expanded to include hot food delis – as one of the first deli trained staff members, I was frequently involved in the training of new staff. Show less
