The project seeks to draw together the evidence base on online offender and victim behaviour including: online grooming possession, collection and distribution of indecent child images identification of policing and industry best practice in prevention. Research assistant on the ‘Pathways to Cybercrime’ project in conjunction with Europol and Middlesex University London.       My primary role here is is to conduct research on a number of topics relevant to Cyber Psychology. Major topics include; Social Cyberpsychology, Developmental Cyberpsychology, Cyberbullying, E-Learning, Computer-Mediated-Communication, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence & Human Computer Interaction, Forensic Cyberpsychology, Consumer & Organisational Cyberpsychology, Clinical Cyberpsychology, Health Cyberpsychology, Cyber Ethics and Cyber Methodology. Currently we are preparing papers which concern the impact of technology on child development and another which explores the social impact of Cybercrime. I also work on updating the CyberPsychology Research Centre website and social media pages. I have developed an Introduction to Cyberpsychology presentation which will be used to garner interest in the field. Other roles include organising public talks by experts in the field such as the 'Varieties of Online Experience' by John Suler. This talk was hosted in the Houston Lecture Theatre at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014. I also attend stakeholder meetings relating to Internet Safety and Cyberbullying. Show less
