Chunli E and I worked closely together at ICBC Leasing in Beijing. At the time I worked in the Financial Markets Department while Chunli worked in both the Operation Management Department and Transportation Finance Department successively. Our departments are closely connected and therefore we have worked together on multiple projects. I have gotten to know Chunli as a person who truly understands the dynamics of international business. Prior to joining ICBC Leasing, she obtained a MBA degree at the University of Illinois and completed multiple cross-border projects at CITIC Construction, allowing her to bring much needed international experience to our team. I was thoroughly impressed by her ability to successfully establish and maintain relationships with professionals all over the world, particularly our Middle-Eastern and European customers. Besides sporting an international business background, she also possesses deep technical knowledge. There have been several occasions where she supported key projects by providing comprehensive financial analyses and industry insights. Her profound financial expertise combined with extensive product knowledge helped us to close multiple financing deals. Finally, Chunli is an emotionally intelligent person. She is a strong networker, understanding the needs of different stakeholders and is able to balance each party’s expectations and priorities. During negotiations she is able to work with the other party and find creative win-win solutions for all involved. In and outside the office, I would describe Chunli as a gracious, sociable and trustworthy person. I wholeheartedly recommend Chunli to any prospective employer engaged in finance and cross-border trade, seeking a professional with a strong financial and technical background and great interpersonal skills.
