• Designed and built a frequency stabilized ultra-narrow linewidth external cavity diode laser (ECDL) for atomic physics. • Made a circuit to switch and servo large currents for Feshbasch resonance experiments for potassium. • Programmed (Verilog) an Altera FPGA chip in order to control a PTS frequency synthesizer for driving transitions between the ground hyperfine states of potassium atoms. • Wrote a GUI image acquisition and analysis program (Python) which drives a Point Grey CCD camera, to take and analyze fluorescence / absorption images of cold atomic clouds. • Maintain (along with a senior PhD student) a potassium cold atom experiment for quantum gas researches.
