My duty was to write the minutes of all our meetings, read the minutes of the last meeting, write monthly project reports and proposal. The reading of minutes at the beginning of each meeting improved my verbal communication skills while, the writing of the minutes improved my listening skills and my desire to fulfil my duties demonstrates my drive and resilience to get things done.

FINANCIAL SECRETARY (Voluntary)

My duty was to keep a record of all funds received from donations, track expenditure and payments of monthly dews and encourage people who are owing to pay their outstanding fees. I designed a function using Microsoft Excel to arrange and automatically sum the total amount of money received and deduct this figure from the anticipated amount of money assuming even member of the group paid; this demonstrates my organisational skills.

National Youth Service Trainee (Operations trainee)

I worked across different technical departments, which include: Protection Control and Monitoring (PC&M), Enugu Central Service Centre (ECSC) and Electrical Fitters. • I assisted technical staff in testing transformers and electrical cables while I was at PC&M. • My duty at ECSC was to follow the service engineer and other technical staff to inspect and repair power distribution lines. I learnt about the distribution network by asking questions and actively participating in repairs. • My duty in Electrical Fitters was to help repair oil leakages in distribution transformers.
