Left Pepsi to work in my family business of 25 years. Was a tough decision after a very successful 21 year run at PBG. But the experience gained in sales, dispatch, management, merchandising and warehouse prepared me well. I ran all daily operations as well as Key Account calls to buyers. When I joined in 2008 it was bad time as the economy collapsed and the business struggled. We delivered Live plants to all Oregon and SW Washington Costco stores exclusively , with the collapse of the economy people stopped spending on non essential items and the nursery business took a hit.
